Even though the unicorn theme is very popular, you can still create a beautiful and magical world for your child that is unique with a few simple standard items. Enter the easy unicorn birthday party!
First, you can pick up a unicorn birthday party invitation almost anywhere. I got ours from Etsy and was able to personalize through Templett. We rented a bouncy house with a slide, so the invite featured a bouncy castle with a unicorn.
Our magical unicorn party was to last from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. If you do not plan your party during a meal hour, you can serve light appetizers, vegetables, fruit, and cake without a problem. I rely heavily on food trays from Publix. It is so easy and really not too expensive to get a few food trays. I try to create one food item on-theme. For this event, I created fruit rainbow, which took about 5 minutes and looked great. The birthday girl added a few extra marshmallows to connect the clouds.
Easy Party Food
Of course, the cake was a unicorn. You can have a unicorn birthday party cake made almost anywhere. I got ours from Publix. Again, it was easy, tasted great, and did not break the bank.
Unicorn Décor
Decorations were simple as well. The unicorn birthday party theme is quite popular. I ordered plastic tablecloths from Target, and a cloth 60″ x 126″ tablecloth from Amazon for the dining room table. I have amassed a collection of fabric tablecloths, because it is near impossible to find a throw-away one that large! Also, the fabric just looks better and can be reused. I gathered a few balloons and lots of tulle for the indoor and outdoor decorations. A helium tank is essential to have on-hand for any birthday celebration.
Additionally, I printed out some coloring pages from Etsy (again, personalized) and they were a big success with the children.
A magical unicorn birthday party needs multi-colored candy and treats, so much to the parents’ dismay there might have been candy everywhere. I had a last-minute Party City binge.
Pin the Horn on the Unicorn was a success. Goody bags were full of candy, sparkly lip balm, rainbow pens, slap bracelets, and lots of stickers.
The unicorn theme was so easy, and I was able to throw this event together quickly. We had a successful unicorn birthday party with only smiles from all of the guests.
